Description
These are jackalopes. I drew them months ago, but thanks to uni it has taken me months to colour them.
They were done with magical oil pastels of hope and wonder, which I've never used on a character before, so they're a bit rough-looking.
I was going to upload this last night but I fell asleep.

I'm so late commenting on this ;A;
First of all: This is absolutely adorable. They both have super cute expressions, I think because of their cartoony eyes, and they're so pudgy x3 The way you've done the fur makes them look suuuper fluffy. I like how each has a distinctly different set of antlers to the other, too. I think the left one is my favourite. So small~
I reeeally like how you've done the shadows with bluer tones and the highlights yellower, it makes the picture so much more colourful and interesting to look at. Also I think the way you did the speed lines with the various colours is really nifty. The fact that each jackalope is a contrasting colour to the other brings attention to both of them, so my eyes feel the need to flit from one to the other. It's kinda hard to know where to look, actually xD But I think that's good in this image cause it kinda promotes a sense of movement.
